It is the same breathtaking sight that Johann Burckhardt first laid eyes on over 200 years ago when he discovered Petra. The beauty of this masterpiece inspired a logo concept that aims to capture the same sense of wonder and amazement that Burckhardt felt during his first encounter with Petra. The logo was created for the "Rediscover Petra" advertising campaign in 2012, a collaboration between the Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority and the Jordan Tourism Board. The logo was so impressive that it won third place in the competition.
